Farewell 2006....farewell Saddam Hussein... your very existence has brought about great excitements to our daily lives...

so the year draws to a close...

lets recall the year tt has passed...Cant really recall it though..i have a bad memory. But i certainly do recall the very first few seconds of my New Year....spend with the gang at Ecp...in a large 8 man tent counting down playing with light sticks...bbq and a mini steamboat tt tasted like yong tou fu soup, peering to our left catching glimpses of fireworks form the more happening Marina Bay/Esplanade..

And then it was the beginning of 2006...a great year perhaps...my very last moments in Hall 6...whihc was very saddening..till now i miss my room...my room mate and my friends..and trainings and matches and etc....abd when the sem exams concluded, I was soon packing my bags and joining the rest to our lil adventure in USA.

a truly humbling and memorable experience that i will nv forget...the tough working schedules..the disputes... the off days where we headed to Atlantic City(where else)...the occasion road trips to WAshinton DC...Philadelphia...NIaagara FAlls....and Delaware...the thrill of inserting quarters to wash and dry clothes at the laundramat...the egyptian and English colleague..the ridiculously obnoxious Americans...( not all)

and then the backpacking began...or shld i say luggage packing for we had with us tons of luggage tt we tuck along...so much so we needed 2 MPVs to travel aound...the SUbway....(both the underground and the deli) the choosing of which jacket to wear... the poping into every aeropostale shop... the thrill of walking into GAP, Banana Republic....Nike..and of cos our fav Fossil...

the trips we made to Grand CAnyon...Hoover dam... being stuck in the desert like interstate after being totally out of fuel....the speeding ticket in california...the view from the top of empire state....the stature of liberty....

Taipei....

I can go on and on...but this aint a blog abt my US escapades...

in 2006 i Passed eveery subject for the first time...

the moving into hall with 3 other roomies in a room fit for only 2... the nites of mugging and projects....the excitement of learning abt the leaked exam paper....

the start of FYP....the 999th day and 1000th day with dear...theres just so much to remember this year

2007 will be a new year...(duh)

my last semester studying....going back to army in may....and then sigh.. work...
