haha. yes i am bored. Back from school. just went to buy notes and check lap groupings. met my honeywell colleagues there. heh. damn lab starts on tues. on the brighter note, 10th jan is hari raya if u guys dun aldy know. start planning ur leave for another long weekend yeah?

haha i turned off my lights and headed for bead closed my eyes and opened them again... stephen;;s irritating samsung phone is blinking. ok nvm... so i tried to sleep again when my vision sighted some brigh orange light moving around. it was on my sofa.

I didnt have my glasses on so i decided to heck care and sleep. But the curiosity in me scared the shit outta me. I needed to know the truth of Narnia... nah.... ahah so i on my lights and see... hmm nothing okie...off my lights agian and tucked myself into bed. Damn the ligh came on again and was moving in haphazard motion... like brownians law on those light speckles...


I couldnt sleep. I was afraid it was some kinda aliens cos the light wasnt ocming from stephen;s hp...
switched on my light again and it went off again... it was then i saw an insect flying on the orange sofa....My GOODNESS it was a FIREFLY!!!!!
right smack in the middle of my room on my sofa!!! so excited i was that i wanted to tell the whole world but everyone seems asleep at 4 am....

I knew what i had to do.. i needed to capture it and gif my dear haha. but i couldnt find any glass or container for tt matter...so i had to improvise and use a shot glass. caught it and wrapped some plastic over it.

HOpefully it doesnt die so soon. I spend a lot of time looking at it... truly amazed...up close.. the light is emitted from its ass....

Then came another surprise.... hongjie and Derek popped up. haha. Hj's doing an intern now at some company at Gateway... whilst derek is buys filming everyday. We were kinda surprised to see Derek. haha he was my best friend in sec 1 and we did everything together. play soccer, sit together go his house play blah blah blah... go town etc... was my closest friend all the way till Jc. where we somehow were in the same class again. And he too in my OG. our then gfs were very close too and hence we went out on double dates frequently. Its nice to see him after so long.. nice car he;s got too.. looking like a real fotographer haha. he's studying graphic design.

So back in Hall i am now. derek gave me a lift. haha. tired, sleepy and i gotta wake pretty early to buy lab manuals from my " new classmates" tmw. haha. the little things i would do for my friends haha. Yea did i mention i skipped the wedding to attend my bert ferque's bdae haha.

Yesterday was a tiring day for the eyes and fingers. Registering for subjects was sucha chore. Somehow or another we became classmates. Now how exciting is tt gonna be. we could attend tutorials , labs do rpojects, play and skip school together...haha but of cos i wun skip school ....for the umpteenth time i have decided to turn over a new leaf.

met the rest after regisering finish subjects at suntec to get a tent. but kinda hungry so we had this dinner at Country manna. yeah they do serve great lamb there. but ALas by the time we had our meals, the marts were closed. so we gotta meet agian soon.

again. foul mood. dunch know why. No one seems particularly happy this festive season. Oh my chum ndy will be back at midnite...he's a heartless oyster haha. I wonder what gifts he will bring me?

I asked for a sailor gal school uniform but i doubt he will get it for me. sighz. Right now I await the clock to strike 11...and then click the damn button. YEs..I am registering subjects today. Hopefully can get the subjects I wan.

Its going to be one hell of a semester but I am gonna study hard...If not i wun feel right going to US. Will be meeting the rest later to get a tent. We're going camping haha. sounds fun ya?

Not to be outdone we decide to wait for the 7th opinion--yilin. haha eventually she did choose tt bag too so we jus hesitated no further.

According to tradition and history Hanukkah is to be celebrated for 8 days so I shall not wreak havoc on history. A merry Christmas to all my friends out there . I love you all. Christmas eve was spend waking up pretty early in the morning by my dearest...supposed to meet her at 10...she rang me at 8 plus... hhaa after tt we took a bus down fully excited to cycle at ECP... once we alighted a strange thought crossed our mind...

Why not? Yea i was toking abt the Beach Road Prawn Mee. haha it was one hell of a noodle. yummy. Then we checked out the Marine parade library en route to Parkway.

Christmas day was spent at TM. haha yea shopping aorund and playing a frustrating arcade game. We spend many $1 coins trying to win a handphone haha but we were soooo close yet so far. We've made a vow to play this game every time we step into century square.

Dear had a dream. She dreamnt I won $8000 at 4D with the nos 8414...specifically. so ok i tot i die die must buy. well we didny win haha


Had dinner at uncles place. nice party with sherperds pie, pasta honey ham turkey etc etc... lovely party and then i had super lot to drink.... so many glasses of red and white wine and some champagne...

Father advised me not to drive out . But stubborn me insisted and in ym tipsy state drove out to bring dear out to Hougang to eat Ponggol Nasi Lemak. great. At least We didnt get caught. haha I love u dear.

Without fail every Hanukah season....our very own mediacorp jus has this tendency and knack for showing Home Alone. Yes be it be parts 1 , 2 or 3... they've shown all enaff times for you to remember what stunts the lil boy will pull.

Yet this show is so endearing to our hearts, not because we can relate to it but rather its jus so heart warming to see such a nice atmospeher in Chicago for christmas...and his antics are so fabulous.

If you're wondering wat season ..yea my IH season. OVer. heh... again wasnt expecting to play and then lj came over to ask for my matric card.. cos jx didnt wanna play. so i warmed up and was hoping to play their top player who was a professor. yeah our opponents brought in 2 top players ---their hall counsellor and his wife... $#@$#@%...

So i was hoping to draw him as it would mean that our weakest player taking out their strongest...yeah arguably NTU's best.... he's undefeated in NTU as yet. Thats wat i heard...and then ky came over and told me I am playing the first singles... damn.. i tot... but brightened up on hearing tt i was playing the prof.. yeah actually i went in with the mindset of 9-0 9-0 ....damn ,, very negative of me aint it.

Then i went in smiled at him and he shook my hand.

On hearing the name i was stunned... YAP FOOK FAH!!! no wunde rhe look so damn familiar... he was our dynamics lecturer last year... and during my IA interview with hitachi i was told abt Fook Fah as well... growls so the match began and the crowd were roaring me on despite knowing tt i would be thrashed. But at least he wasnt up agianst our top player so we had hopes...9 zip the first set was over as soon as it started.

I quickly signalled for a break... prep talk by the team... ck was telling me at least get one point wun look so bad... i told myself ok i will go for u...I went in...for the 2nd set... For the record i always win the ball back on my 1st rally in 2nd set... yes..

I won the rally and won back the service.. served and i knew he knew my weaknesses...deep back court...it was obvious he was aiming there... ad i was happy i did well returning many back courts. then i know his prob aged... and prob cant reach if i did some drop shots. BTw i am good at drop shots cos i am pretty flexible and able to stretch. i won the point. but after tt i didnt get much cahnces. so i lost.

COmpared to the previous game where we faced the same opponents, i did betta this time..my service was good and in all i am pleased but i was made to run like a mad cow... mooo.. so he won. I lost but it was no shame. ck told me with a handshake tt its ok 'least i got a point as he aimed for me.

The 2nd match was gals singles... evon was up and she didnt play too well tdy. she was veyr sad abt it as she was our top player. She lost to fook fah's wife..

damn we gotta forbid this overaged pple from playing... haha so tt we student shave more chance. overrall we didnt qualify for the quarters but I am sure it was a great experience... and for me i was certainly amazed that i played in 2 out of 3 matches. haha. enaff said. dinner time.

pleasant surprise...i didnt go malacca as planned. yay. instead i started watching dvds...was halfway thru haunted mansion when mother came into my room and say lets go JB...i was like huh...dun wan la....but i still went and boy was there a traffic jam...

city square...heard of it buy nv been to it. In my mind JB only has one shopping centre called holiday plaza... haha yes thats me suaku... i haven been to JB for almost 10 years haha so now i realise. hay its pretty close to the causeway. walkable distance. cool.

know whats more cool? they sell pirated DVDs and pc games at original shops. yeah imagine u step into Jurong point POH KIM or TS2...and they sell DVDs tt are well not original haha. i must applaud malaysia on their audacity. Yeap bout King Kong haha though i jus watched it yesterday.

Choosing the right DVDs to buy was a headache.... there was jus soo much choice. haha very spoilt for choices haha eventually picked out a few... king kong,, schinder's list kung fu mahjong and yes perhaps love . haha all the arty farty show.

it was then dad told me he wanted to watch king kong at the cinema cos he gets senior citzen rates only 3.50 ahah. then i realise how much he;s aged. sighz. anyway i was glad i went to JB with them today. I realised u haven been spending enaff time wiht my family. And dad picked up a few shirts and i could see he was visibly happy and of cos i was invisibly happy for him and mama too. I took them to eat a conveyor sushi belt yes mark this my mother hasnt tried b4 so there we were eating away and honestly it sucks. as compared to singapore that is.

City square is owned by singapore if u dun aldy know.. yes its state owned....temasek holdings. well done. good vision.

I had a great day with dear.... yea nv had sucha nice time togethere in town lo. We went to eat at food culture which is a food court at wisma...which is pretty good lotsa good food. and we went at odd hour like 4pm cos we know tt place is impossible to ifnd seats at meal times. haha

how clever. We caught King KONG!!!! watta great short tt was omg,,,, so funny and so sweet and touching and exciting...i shant spoil the fun by telling u abt it but its worth it.... whole 3 hours of solid action...although i think the movie title shouldnt be King Kong....cos almost the whole 1st half of the movie u dun see king kong... perhaps should call it "the adventure" haha

its been a long time since we had a gathering. Though it was short, it was fun and we did some catching up. really been a long time and some of the gals have aldy started working....yeah mainly auditors. What's new?

We had dinner at Fish n Co..of cos needless ot say without looking at the menu we aldy knew wat we wanted. thats 10 pple so 5 sets of seafood platter for 2. And it was zk's bdae so we had a mini cake cutting party in there as well . thereafter headed down to Paradiz for a session of Pool.

Speaking of Paradiz brings back fond memories as well...the days of so called studying at YMCA macs...usually ended up with long sessions at Paradiz, and of cos a nice bowl of teochew minced pok mee from the then food court. Life was good.

Was very tired...very very tired that i almost fell asleep instantly when i turned on my PC. i didnt even bother plugging my laptop ....very apologetic to dear...couldnt accompany u last nite. sorrie.

I guess i aint a very good movie critque aren't I? yeah...the roommate's fast asleep to tunes of Silent Night in the background. And the weather is uber cool... and its pouring... feels so much like xmas eve now... save for the tree and lights and deco of cos.

Yes..oh yay...haha was in total shock today. went down for squash match, totally not expectin to play...yea cos there are a lot of talents this year...but i brought my matric card for fun. Went down there didnt know a single soul. so started making frens haha. and yea then i looked around... hmmm 1...2... hmmm only 2 other male squashers turned up? oh no that makes me 3...

didnt want to play after losing badly last year. but lj told me to jus go ahead. dun be afraid and FOCUS.... I used to be an alrite player back in acs... nearly made it to squash team in acjc. but then the interest kinda got lost... yeah and i know what i wan to do... but seriously i had one hell of a lousy racket with CMI string.

Its a perfect swing yet i cant get the kinda sound or drive that i wan. but nvm. so i warmed up. REally a great atmosphere cos everyone's cheeirng for me.. and i bet they didnt even know who i was cos they were mainly freshies... haha.

And ok i did ok this time round. yea i lost. haha. but was pretty pleased with my own performance today. did a lot betta than last year and won a few points. The only disappointment was my service. wasted a few services..damn. and so the crowd roared me on it was a geat match but i lost.

so we were down 2-0. Hall 4 looked confident but of cos we knew we had our trump cards coming up. we won the 3rd male singles and both female singles. so we won the match 3-2.

oh yay. we win win win win win haha. i guess i wun play the next match liao cos by a stroke of fortune or misfortune there were only 3 guys today lolz. will post the pics if i can find some later.

CAn u recall the last week of anything? Its probably the most memorable.
The last week of sch after the PSLE, busy singing autographs book from silly schoolgals with quotes like" wish you good luck , wish you bad luck , wish you born a little nut" or " roses are red , violets are blue, forget me not.." or something along tt line. Then you grew up and headed to sec sch.

The Last week of ur sec sch life would probably be some Prom nite... yeah for me its at boring sch uditorium. Tan Sri Tan Chin Tuan Auditorium to be exact... the bloke passed away not too long ago. nice chap i heard.

Ok i am digressing a lot. what i am trying to say is that its the last week of my bloody attachments . Yeah perhaps should just call it B.A ----> bloody attachment hahaha. lame i know.

I gonna make sure this week will be a good one. I dun care if I haf to work till late nite... i gonna finish my work and bade my farewell woohoo! Work has been the same. boring dull meetings etc...i must say actually that i am quite pleased tt my boss actually gives me such chances.. to attend meetings in his place etc... so much so tt i often know more than him cos he's always not around.

Attending such high level meetings haf boosted my confidence pretty much. initially i was like a lil mouse afraid to speak up in front of a real meeting room full of engineers and red haired peeps...Yeah now i can just shoot back at them like i am some big shot haha.

Perhaps the fact tt i am justa student and i dun haf a burden other than my studies contribute to the fact tt i dun gif a hoot.

yeah.. and yes the weekends are here finally. kinda happy or shld i say pretty happy. yeap perhaps i am going down marina this wekends get some prezz for my boss.
