...To Euler, Bernou Li Navier and Stokes....
These fine gentlemen have brought us nothing but trouble since the day they left this world....
one day Bernou Li was walking down King Albert Park..where he spotted MacDonalds...and then his tummy was growling... so he decides...hmm i really need a big ol' Mac now... With that.. he ordered his Big Mac....he was sipping his cola thru the thin straw which can be assumed as a long hollow beam with thin walls...Bernouli SUCKS the cola thru the straw.. which led him to think " HOw da hell did i do that?"
With his half eaten Big Mac...he kept pondering while the occasional Hwa Chong and MGS chio bu zipped pass him....so he sucks... " Lets say the cola is incompressible" he took a coke can and crushed it so hard that it refused to budge... Navier Ong was nearby and saw him.
" eh you siao ah! COKE density is constant la! u tink u can crush it?"
"hmm...no wonder i couldnt make it budge?" wondered Bernou Li.
"Any idea wats the ambient pressure around here, mate?" he asked Navier.
"Well, one can never be too sure but lets just say its atmospheric?" Navier replied thoughtfully.
He asked for a smaller cup of coke and drank the cola with a shorter straw but of same diameter. he drank the coke even faster. whihc of cos is no surprise to any of us Laymen let along Bernou Li.
Navier was surprised that Bernou Li achieved that feat. "Holy Moley.... "
The next senctence he spoke....made him famous....rich... and hugely unpopular among engineering students...... the below is an excerpt of his infamous speech made in KAP macs....many year ago.....
NAvier ong was telling Bernou Li " Tell you tell he plus you tell you tio axe plus HE tell you tell why plus DOuble you tell you tell Jack equal one over row tell pee tio axe plus He bracket tell to you tio axe square plus tell to you tell why square plus tell to you tell jack square close bracket."

Bernouli was puzzled....
So were we.....
not to be outdone Bernou Li told him "SInce the density of coke is constant.... and the pressures inside the cup and outside are assumed to be atmospheric as you said... hence i conclude that if i take pressure insde the cup plus the speed squared of which i am sucking.... should give me the length of the Straw leh!"
wow...
such wise man...
That was just the stories of Navier Ong and Bernou Li whihc made them famous... wait till you hear the rest.
farewell.
